Sometimes hearing aids aren’t enough

If you have trouble hearing on the phone or in noisy environments, if speech and sounds are muffled and garbled or if your hearing aids simply aren’t enough, a cochlear implant may be a suitable solution.

Hearing loss can have a big impact on how you live your life. A cochlear implant can be a suitable option for adults and seniors of any age. Better connect with loved ones. Feel more confident to participate in everyday activities.

Our mapping and audiological support is bulk-billed—no out of pocket expenses.

About the session

At the information session you will learn:

  • The difference between a hearing aid and a hearing implant system
  • How a hearing implant system works; and
  • What the experience is like—from someone with a cochlear implant.

There will be a Q&A session at the end with our qualified staff and the cochlear implant recipient.

Light refreshments will be provided for in-person sessions. Family and friends are welcome to attend.

Interested in an online session?

If you cannot attend an in-person event, you can register your interest for an online session and to receive information updates about our cochlear implant services.
