How to include a gift in your Will

You can join us in redefining what’s possible for children and adults with hearing or vision loss by including us in your Will.

We recommend you discuss this decision with your loved ones. You may then wish to consult your solicitor, trustee company, or the public trustee regarding the wording—and we always recommend you do so.

If you are a solicitor with a client wishing to leave a gift in their Will to NextSense, please pass on our sincerest gratitude in them leaving a powerful and lasting legacy to redefine what’s possible for future generations.

General Will wording

I give to NextSense* (Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children ABN 53 443 272 865) the whole (or insert percentage) of the residue of my estate free of all duties and testamentary expenses for its general purposes. I declare that the receipt of this bequest by the Chief Executive or other authorised officer of NextSense, shall form valid discharge to my executor(s).

Specific Will wording

I give to NextSense* (Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children ABN 53 443 272 865) the sum of (insert amount)^ free of all duties and testamentary expenses for its general purposes. I declare that the receipt of this bequest by the Chief Executive or other authorised officer of NextSense (Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children ABN 53 443 272 865), shall form valid discharge to my executor(s).

An alternative Will wording
