VISCON is always a great opportunity to come together to learn, network and engage with the field! The program is available from this link.

We are excited about the range of learning opportunities that are available in this all-Australian program. We are hosting a panel of Australian Vision Education Queens, a panel discussion about high school to university transition, a myriad of fabulous tips for your toolbox, and a range of research and experience based presentations.


Exhibition opportunities are available:

Level 1 ($250): Handouts in the participant pack

Level 2 ($500): Exhibition space for 2 days with 1 free participant, handouts in the participant pack

Level 3($750): Exhibition space for 2 days with 2 free participants, handouts in the participant pack, logo included in final 5 participant emails and on conference documentation


This event will be held at NextSense Central, 2 Gymnasium Road, Macquarie University. Accommodation and transport details are located here.

This event addresses the following Standards from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers: 1.1.2, 1.2.2, 1.3.2, 1.4.2, 1.5.2, 1.6.2, 2.6.2, 3.2.2, 3.3.2, 3.4.2, 3.6.2, 4.1.2, 4.4.2, 4.5.2, 5.1.2, 5.2.2, 5.3.2, 5.4.2, 6.2.2, 6.2.6, 6.3.2, 6.4.2, 7.4.2. It fits within the Priority Area of Children/ Student with Disabilities. This event is evidence and research based.

This conference will contribute 8.5 PD hours (3.50 credits for Day 1 and 5 credits for Day 2).towards COMS re-certification with ACVREP as it addresses the Core Domains of the OMAA O&M Framework.
