This interactive workshop will provide a range of teaching strategies, tips and tricks to support the development of braille literacy for students from infancy through to secondary school.

Resources will be shared including those from dAp Dots which is a collection of Braille books and Braille resources that help with learning and understanding the basics of the UEB Braille code. dAp Dots resources are designed to provide an effective foundation to Braille literacy for parents and children.

This workshop will also provide suggestions to support dual media learners.
