Independent and Working Together
This two day conference provides evidence and experience based presentations for Orientation and Mobility professionals and stakeholders. Held in-person, participants will have the opportunity to engage with presenters and audience members through a range of activities. We are excited to include welcome drinks on Thursday night 13 March and a casual dinner on Friday night 14 March 2025 - details pending!

The Call for Papers is also open! We are calling for creative presentations from O&M professionals that tie this theme to the topic areas below. You are invited to submit a presentation abstract to be part of this exciting event.
Presenters will receive a free ticket to attend the full day! And the opportunity to be published in Vision Rehabilitation Journal International, 2025 Issue!
We are seeking presentations of 20 – 25 mins duration (including 5 – 10 mins for questions) on one of the following topics:
- Technology
- Children
- Adults
- Advanced O&M practice areas such as Brain Based Vision Conditions, Guide Dog Mobility or Early Childhood, Deaf-Blind.

Complete the form on Page 3/4 of this announcement and submit the proposal according to the instructions by 16 September 2024.
Accreditation
This OMAA Conference will contribute 12 PD hours towards COMS re-certification with ACVREP as it addresses the Core Domains of the OMAA O&M Framework.
