Course Information
This presentation will provide an overview of typical development of audition and the influence of hearing loss on auditory skills for students who are deaf or hard of hearing. We will discuss a range of assessment tools including current checklists and guides that can be used to develop and monitor functional listening skills for our students. Participants will be provided with suggestions to embed auditory skills into mainstream classroom curriculums.
