Course Information
This session will provide educators and allied health professionals with the following learning experiences:
- engagement in a smoking ceremony
- discussions about the local region
- discussions about the importance of a Welcome to country and acknowledgement of country (Uncle Colin)
- advice about cultural dos and don’ts
- learning about stolen and hidden generations
There will also be a panel discussion with community members to discuss strategies that can be used by educators and allied health professionals when working with Indigenous Australians.
