There's still time to get loud for children with hearing loss

Our incredible supporters made lots of noise on Loud Shirt Day. And there's still time to get loud.

Huge thanks to our incredible supporters who wore it loud on Loud Shirt Day to raise money for children with hearing loss.

If you haven't got loud yet, you have until December to don your wackiest shirt, hold an event and make some noise. The funds raised will go towards much-needed early intervention services that help children hit the same milestones as their hearing peers.

Our Loud Shirt Day all-stars included individuals and businesses who embraced the opportunity to get loud and raise funds—people like Loud Shirt Day champions Stephanie and Anthony, whose son Nicholas was diagnosed with hearing loss in both ears at five weeks and is now a thriving happy three-year-old. That’s because he got the right support early and is now developing at the same rate as his hearing peers. Through LaManna Melbourne Stephanie and Anthony are donating $1 from every gelato sale to NextSense and encouraging customers to donate instore or online.

Our corporate partners, Audeara generously committed to donating 10% of headphone sales throughout October, for Loud Shirt Day and wore it loud too. Chief Executive Officer, Dr James Fielding wore his loud vest at the Brisbane Lord Mayor's Business Awards, where Audeara took out two awards.

Fashion designer Gary Bigeni is another of our champions. He was born with hearing loss and has been wearing hearing aids from a young age. He's a keen supporter of this annual event and is accepting donations via his fundraising page . Thanks so much Gary for being such a great ambassador for this cause.

Strikeforce AMC have been supporting Loud Shirt Day since 2016 and this year had a LOUD party, with a loudest shirt competition, kids’ colouring competition and their leadership team rolling up the sleeves to wash cars.

Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick legal firm have also been supporting Loud Shirt Day for some time and they always invest in making their event a huge success by spreading awareness among the staff there. Their LOUD shirt collection is becoming highly impressive.

BNI Momentum's east Melbourne chapter got their LOUD party started early, with a dance to J Lo’s Let’s Get Loud. They’re keeping the party going by running their donation page until the end of the year.

Thanks also to SS&C Technologies , who held a raffle and auction and our amazing individual supporters for all the efforts they have put into this event. We can’t thank you enough.
