Looking after your family and loved ones is always going to be your top priority when writing your Will. But did you know leaving a gift of just 1% of your estate to a cause you’re passionate about can make a huge difference in the lives of many Australians?

The NextSense Bequest program contributes vital funds to support future generations of children and adults with hearing and vision loss and helps us build the long-term sustainability of our organisation.

As part of the program, we aim to make it easier for you to discuss developing a Will with your loved ones and consider leaving a gift to a charity you are passionate about.

Currently, only 11% of Australians over the age of 55 with a Will have left a gift to charity.

To support you in developing a legal Will, NextSense has partnered with Safewill—one of Australia’s highest rating online Will writing platforms. Safewill provides an easy, uncomplicated, and accessible approach to writing a legally binding Will—without the time and expense involved in having to consult a lawyer.

To kick off our partnership with Safewill, we are offering our valued supporters the opportunity to write their legal online Will for free—a saving of $160. This offer is a great way for us to thank you, and our loyal donors, for your ongoing support and encourage you to consider leaving a gift to support NextSense and the thousands of individuals we support in your Will – or indeed any charity you care about. Please note that in taking up this offer, there is no obligation to leave a gift to us.

If, like many of us, writing a Will is something you haven’t really thought about, or have been putting off altogether, this could be an opportunity to get started. To find out more, or to take advantage of the free Will offer, simply go to

Safewill offers an easy-to-follow process, and it can take as little as 20 minutes to write a simple Will.
