It’s been a turbulent couple of days around the country with spiking COVID numbers and additional lockdowns being announced.

We continue to focus on keeping people safe and delivering services in the most appropriate ways. And we are so incredibly thankful for all of the work our fiercely committed people continue to do to support our clients and each other.

With the latest extension of the Greater Sydney lockdown to include the Hunter and Upper Hunter regions, and also a snap 7-day lockdown in Victoria, this will impact our centres. But we have been here before and our centres in impacted areas continue to make every effort to transition our clients to remote service delivery and provide services in-centre if it’s not possible to be delivered remotely. This is essential.

Our school and preschools at North Rocks continue to operate in-person for families of authorised workers and offer remote learning where practical. Our kinder programs at Blackburn, Victoria continue to operate in-person as per Government guidelines.

All of us at NextSense continue to work in a way that best meets the needs of our clients. I am so grateful for our people who are working in-centre and delivering services in-person—I recognise that this comes with added challenges. Yet they continue to step-up to work in-centre and provide services in-person for our clients who need it.

It’s challenging, yes but let’s all work together to get through this. Stay well and stay connected.

Chris
