To take advantage of you all coming to our NextSense Central site at Macquarie, we are offering an additional half day program of experiences and learning. You are all invited to join us for an on-site tour of the Services and Education building for the first hour of this session, which will run prior to the onsite training and site visits listed below and you do not need to register for this.

We will be offering two streams that you can choose from during the half day you are not involved in the Incredible Colleagues workshop that is already in your diary. We invite you to indicate your preference in the list of registration options, after checking the timing of your Incredible Colleagues workshop and choosing the alternate session of the day.

Register for option 1 OR option 2 for the alternate session to your Incredible Colleagues workshop. No need to choose option 3 as a registration category, just check with your manager.

Option 1: Site Visits

You will walk up to The Australian Hearing Hub and Cochlear buildings (approx. 1 km) for tours of both buildings. Please note that the Thursday afternoon session will not visit Cochlear.

Option 2: Onsite training

You will join us in the School Hall to engage in learning experiences as following:

10am/ 2:30pm Accessible Documents with Sonali

10:30/ 3pm Microsoft Tips and Tricks with IT

11:00/ 3:30 Auslan introduction with Lisa

11:30/ 4:00 Disability Awareness Training with Mike and Bronek

12:00/ 4:30 Social Time

12:30/ 5:00 Lunch/ End of Day

Option 3: Early Departure/ Late Arrival or onsite meetings with colleagues

There is no obligation to join these additional sessions and if you need to, can choose to opt out as necessary. We will assume that you have chosen this option should we not receive your registration. We encourage you to discuss this with your Manager as required.
