Course Information

Session 1: 9:00-12:00

This session will provide content in two areas, providing opportunity for questions and discussion.

1) Managing Teens: this presentation will provide strategies for supporting teens including classroom practices and discuss ideas for managing anxiety.

2) Reading for DHH students including working with decodable texts and assessments that can be used to identify student challenges with reading. Opportunities for discussion and sharing strategies is included.

Session 2: 12:30-3:00

1) Update about the NESA Auslan curriculum and a walk through the published Auslan resources.

2) Response to Intervention and Differentiation for DHH Students: this presentation will explore the RTI model and discuss strategies to differentiate curriculum, pedagogy and assessment.
