Session 1: Sentio bone conduction hearing system - an introduction for caregivers, allied health workers and teachers (provided by Oticon Medical)

The Sentio™ System is an active transcutaneous bone conduction hearing system, which combines an implant placed under the skin, and a sound processor held over the implant by magnets. Through this webinar you’ll learn how Sentio provides remarkable sound quality and speech understanding with access to the full range of low and high frequency sounds. You’ll learn what is unique about Sentio, why surgeons and audiologists choose Sentio for different patients and how Sentio connects to our digital world.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand how the Sentio 1 Mini sound processor and Sentio Ti implant work for patients with conductive, mixed and single-sided hearing loss.
- Learn how the Sentio 1 Mini sound processor has been designed to support children, individuals with poor dexterity and active lifestyles.
- Learn how the Sentio Ti implant, the smallest transcutaneous implant¹, supports straightforward surgeries, and expands candidacy for more people to benefit from a bone conduction implant.

Session 2: Exploring Sentio Active Transcutaneous System technical aspects, outcomes, and use cases in Australia (provided by Oticon Medical)

This webinar is aimed towards hearing care professionals. We’ll explore all aspects of Sentio: straight-forward pre-operative trials; easy-to-use Sentio 1 Mini sound processor; expanded candidacy given the flexibility of the Sentio Ti implant; excellent audiological outcomes and feedback from users. We’ll review the strong body of evidence for Sentio and give an insight into current and future research projects to ensure continued innovation in bone anchored hearing.
