Course Information

This series of hands-on, interactive workshops will provide a comprehensive overview of four assessment tools that can be used by qualified Teachers of the Deaf to monitor student progress. Each workshop will provide a full overview of the assessment tool including all administration considerations, an opportunity to either view and complete an assessment or to work from a completed assessment form, and experience referring to the test manuals to analyse the results. Time will be spent on identifying the current level of functioning of the student assessed, and developing goals for future learning.

These workshops are only available to qualified Teachers of the Deaf, and all participants are required to watch a one hour lecture and complete a brief assessment survey about the principles of assessment prior to engaging with one or more of the sessions. These workshops will not be recorded and are offered in-person or online.
