Course Information

This series of 6 webinars investigated and provided advice about specific eye conditions. You will gain a broad understanding of the visual system, the process of seeing, the impact of and the medical management of each condition. By the end of the session you should be able to:

  • describe which part of the visual system is affected
  • understand the impact that each eye condition may have on vision
  • describe clinical management strategies of each eye condition in simple terms that are meaningful to families

It fits within the Priority Area of Children/ Student with Disabilities. This event is evidence and research based.

This webinar series has been endorsed by OMAA and will contribute 6 PD hours towards COMS recertification with ACRVEP as it addresses the Core Domains of the OMAA O&M Framework.
